Writing comes easily to many people. Perhaps they have learned the techniques of “free writing” and they use those techniques to crank out memo after memo and position paper after position paper. They easily create presentations for their boards of directors, for their local chambers of commerce or for their industry associations. Some people can create letter-perfect documents, first time and every time, that are audience-ready.
But others know that while they may have covered all the major points they want to make, they know they need help ensuring that their presentations, proposals, and memos are grammatically correct. Still others have everything they need on the page, but they feel the writing is flat and dull and they want someone to bring their writing alive, imbue it with energy, through words that sing.
That is where I will step in. As your proofreader and editor, I can point out areas that need further explanation and sections that may be confusing to your intended audience. I will suggest ways to express yourself a bit more eloquently or a bit less high-minded.
Whether your work needs to be fancied up or made simpler and easier to understand, I will be the filter through which your work becomes livelier and more evocative. I will become your indispensable right-hand guide as you prepare your articles and books for publication and your speeches and proposals for presentation.
